Description

Are you full of energy and  ideas for fun activities? FSL has the Par-Time opportunity you have been looking for. The Resident Services Coordinator positions works directly with seniors who live on the Marist Tucson property. As the coordinator, you will plan and implement activities and events (such as birthday parties, potlucks, holiday parties, etc.).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities and events
  • Transport residents on scheduled outings
  • Assist residents with arts and crafts program
  • Inform Property Manager if supplies need to be replenished/purchased
  • Keep activity areas neat and clean; may be asked to do some heavier cleaning and/or mopping when needed
  • Clean kitchen and wash dishes when using those facilities
  • Maintain confidentiality with all resident matters at all times
  • Display enthusiasm and maintain a positive attitude
  • Monitor the safety and security of residents at all times
  • Assist with outings and special events as needed
  • Other duties as needed

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

        Minimum Required:

  • Must not have any restrictions for physical work for which reasonable accommodation cannot be made
  • Bilingual
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and insurance
  • Must be capable of driving a passenger van

 

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

        Minimum Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge in activities geared toward the seniors

 

        Preferred:

  • Previous experience as an activity coordinator
  • Previous experience working with the elderly
