Registered Nurse

Scope of Work

The Home Health RN provides direct intermittent skilled client care in the home care setting with physicians’ orders and under the supervision of the Area Supervisor or designee.  This RN has a friendly, positive attitude and is an active participant in ensuring that the team’s clients are provided quality services.  The RN assesses client need and subsequently plans the care, implements the care plan, and then coordinates, evaluates, and supervises the therapeutic services provided by agency staff. The Home Health RN provides quality care in the home environment, may have multiple patients and uses electronic documentation for patient care.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current Arizona RN license
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Department of Public Safety background check/fingerprint clearance process.
  • Must have knowledge of needs of older adults, the aging process, and the needs of adults with Disabilities.

Preferred:

  • One year working with frail elderly or disabled adults
  • Bilingual (English and any other language)
