As the number of donors and donations continues to rise, we need someone like you to be dedicated to managing relationships with donors.

The Donor Stewardship Manager is a key member of FSL’s growing development team and will report directly to the Vice President of Community Engagement.  The successful candidate enjoys meeting and working with volunteers and donors to achieve their philanthropic goals.  The Donor Stewardship Manager is responsible for creating and implementing FSL’s stewardship program, including the development of prospecting, cultivating, soliciting, and thanking strategies. 



  • Manage a portfolio of 150 major donors
  • Ensure stellar donor stewardship by developing and maintaining relationships with donors
  • Review donation reports regularly to identify new major donor prospects
  • Create Major Gifts program including recognition and event(s)
  • Write, call and meet with major donors regularly; provide tours which display FSL’s mission
  • Identify donors for elevated interactions with VP and/or CEO
  • Track and record all donor interactions and communications in donor relationship software
  • Support donor-facing events
  • Work with the Development Assistant to track campaigns’ progress and team goals
  • Other development duties as needed



        Minimum Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years in working with a successful development team.
  • Have outstanding communication and writing skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks, show initiative, and problem solve creatively.
  • Capacity for effective outreach and engagement through personal interaction.
  • Local travel to meet with donors is required.
  • Flexible schedule – early mornings, evenings and/or weekends may be necessary.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, insurance and vehicle to transport to meetings during the workday.


  • Working knowledge of eTapestry or similar fundraising database.
  • Previous experience in managing a donor portfolio



        Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 2 years in working with a successful development team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience working in a nonprofit with health and social services focus
