Caseworker – Peoria CAP

Scope of Work

The Caseworker position will be working in the Peoria CAP program. The role is responsible for telephone consultations, screening and assessing clients for rental/mortgage and utility assistance, completing document collection and submitting and approving financial assistance applications. In addition, the role will provide outreach and collaboration.

The position is full-time*, located at our Corporate Office in Phoenix, AZ with a work schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.


*Please note: This position is currently short-term, ending at the end of the year (06/30/2021), but can end at any time based on the status of funding.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 3 years professional customer service/client care experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and have an acceptable MVR

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Services
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
