Staffing Coordinator - Skilled Services
Scope of Work
Under the direct supervision of the RN Administrator and/or RN Area Supervisor for Skilled Hourly Services, the Staffing Coordinator for Skilled Hourly Services will have the responsibility of staffing new client referrals for the Adult Hourly Skilled Services Program. While this position requires some autonomy in making staffing decisions. The Staffing Coordinator is required to have frequent contact with case managers, field staff, and referral sources. The position also has the responsibility of answering the phone and transferring calls to the appropriate staff both in the office and the field. The Staffing Coordinator inputs client data into the software system, therefore requiring good computer skills. Works closely with staff to ensure that the shifts are scheduled for the field staff timely and readjusts schedules as needed to meet the needs of the clients and the staff. The Staffing Coordinator works with the case managers and the physicians to get both the authorizations and the orders for treatment to begin the client's care.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid AZ Drivers License with acceptable motor vehicle record
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Customer Service experience
- Home Health Care experience
- Knowledge of ventilator/tracheotomy terminology
