Administrative Assistant, Full-Time
Scope of Work
Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting FSL Home Improvement staff with day-to day tasks to ensure compliance with all contractual guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to typing memos, email correspondence, creating reports and other documents. Updates reports and databases as needed. Determines client eligibility for various programs and types of repair services to be provided for clients. Coordinates subcontractors, other interested parties, and/or volunteers to accomplish the work, as well as monitoring assignments and quality of service delivered. Refers clients to proper agencies when services cannot be completed through FSL. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Administrative Assistant needs to have their own reliable vehicle with insurance, due to traveling to meet with clients throughout Maricopa County.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid AZ Drivers License with acceptable MVR
- One year experience working in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Construction background (in all phases of construction)
- Knowledge and experience with Weatherization, CDBG/Rehabilitation, HUD and other state and federal housing programs
- Knowledge of available community resources
